The Owners

Kim Pash-Bell

Owner/Director

Kim Pash-Bell opened Tutoring Tree in 2006. She is a certified reading specialist and licensed teacher with the state of Oregon. Her passion for and commitment to education is what has brought her success in the classroom and as a one-on-one tutor. As a graduate from Pacific University with a master’s degree in elementary and early childhood education and a BS from University of Oregon with a minor in special education, Kim is committed to providing meaningful learning experiences for students in a warm, creative learning environment.

Michael Bell

Owner

Michael Bell has taught Health, PE, and Social Studies at Sheldon High School since 2006. He has an MA in teaching from Pacific University and a BS degree from Oregon State University. He has an Oregon Teaching License endorsed in health, social studies, physical education and language arts. He has been working with children of all ages for 14 years in various environments. Michael is committed to helping children deal with problems and issues that arise both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Tutors

Our tutors are local teachers and professionals with a background in education and tutoring. All of our tutors have a bachelors's degree including extensive experience in the subjects they tutor and most have graduate degrees and current teaching licenses.
